My recent stay at Castel Hoertenberg was a welcome retreat in the serene Bolzano area. Nestled on the foundations of a 500-year-old castle, the ambiance harmoniously blends history with modernity. I particularly enjoyed the spa facilities, which reflect a rich tradition reminiscent of Roman wellness practices. The Turkish steam bath and treatment room provided a relaxing escape after a day of exploring. The outdoor pool area was a delightful spot to unwind, set against the backdrop of beautiful mountain views. I also appreciated the spacious grounds, allowing for leisurely strolls amid natural beauty. The restaurant, located in the charming cellar, offered a varied menu-an interesting balance of local and contemporary dishes. Lastly, the attentive staff ensured that my experience was smooth, from making dinner reservations to providing insights into the area.
